When he was young, Neil and his family attended church, but he drifted away in his teens when his parents divorced. After some challenging issues in his early 20’s, Neil began a search for new purpose and direction. At age 26, he asked Jesus Christ to become his Savior and began following Him. Neil was blessed to have a few mature Christian men invest in him and model a healthy spiritual life to help him grow and develop in his faith as a Christ-follower.
Neil’s ongoing journey includes regular involvement community bible studies and men’s discipleship groups. He serves at his local church in leadership and global outreach. He also teaches in various settings about biblical generosity and stewardship.
Neil and his wife, Shameeron, have four adult children, as well as some grandchildren. They enjoy being involved in their community to build relationships and taking groups to Mexico to build homes for the poor in the Tijuana area. More recently they have been engaged in some international outreach work. For fun, Neil enjoys playing racquetball, hiking and watching soccer.
As a professional advisor, Neil has the privilege of helping people to be strategic, generous and wise with money.
